At our weekly meeting Mike Liaw and Andrew Wilson spoke to the club about the work of the Orchard Community.
Mike Liaw started this as housing for young men aging out of the foster system and providing a staple living environment for them and helping them to get established and live on their own.
This is done in a house with an ADU unit to assist as many as they can.

Highlighting the visit was Zoey Zuniga. The 3rd Year Varsity Girls wrestler has helped grow the team since she joined as a Sophomore. Sheβs off to a good start this year with a record of 10-2. The dual athlete also shares her talents on the girls Flag Football team.
Good luck this year π€Ό

Our Impact
During our 100 year history, the key to our longevity and success has been combining our service mission with clever and sometimes outrageous fun. Both sustain us and fuel our continued growth and efforts in the community. Our weekly meetings are conducted in that spirit and the laughter and camaraderie are contagious. Fun and fellowship also accompany our fundraising events and social gatherings.
Our Mission
The clubβs mission is to care for the youth, the hearing impaired, and others in need in the Greater Whittier Area.
Community Events
We have events throughout the year to raise dollars for our scholarships and provide services to our residents and community.
Our
Leadership
Our board members work hard and volunteer their time to support our community.
